The Classical Christian Co-Op of Nazareth is an inter-denominational cooperative created by parents for parents, committed to the provision of an excellent education shaped by a theological commitment to broad Christian orthodoxy. We combine the beauty of homeschooling with the structure and order of a traditional Christian classroom. We do this through a Christ-centered and family-friendly approach to homeschooling that makes everything biblical and hospitable, focused on three simple key areas: 

Classical

We are committed to cultivating wisdom and virtue in our students. We see education as a quest for these ideals. We value the essential elements of the Western Tradition: the use of classical books and art; a general preference for great art, music, and literature; an integrated curriculum; and idea-focused teaching. Classical educators have a high view of humanity.

 Christian

A classical education understands the essential focus of education: showing children the glory of God. A secular worldview cannot define the true meaning and purpose of education. The biblical worldview that permeates our courses, along with training in character and virtue that will reinforce the discipleship already occurring in the homes and local churches of our families. We also hope to connect families to one another, forming a community of like-minded parents and students dedicated to a classical, Christian education that honors and glorifies God.

Community

Some may claim the purpose of education is to attain good jobs while others say it is to improve communities, end poverty, or strengthen the economy. Sadly, in a post-modern world, students are given the perspective that there are no absolute truths. No secular educators can justify any of these claims nor give a standard of purpose for education.  We believe the purpose of education is to strengthen students in character and virtue for service to their families, religious communities, and society.
